Again this year I took the #inktober challenge: one month, one list of words for everyone, one drawing a day.
On top of that I decided to link each word with a sexist phrase and the feminist answer that can support women. Keeping it light, funny and colourful as always! It has been a lot of researches, many evenings spent in front of feminists websites and newspapers learning about this fight for gender equality.
It changed my way of thinking and seeing the world and I am very proud that I managed to keep going until the very last day.
I received a lot of very positive messages and encouragements and decided to go a step further. I printed a set of cards as an initiation to feminism, a conversation starter to bring this topic on everyone's table!!
Check my instagram @_byloren_ to see all the posts and read all the texts!
Here is the result:
In October 2016 I did the Instagram challenge Inktober, One month, one list of words for everybody, one drawing a day. It was quite a hard time for me and I never posted it here, although I still really like this series. You can still see all of it on my instagram @_byloren_
Here are my favourites from this series :)
My last article for Dutch the magazine is about my favourite plant shop in Amsterdam: Wildernis!
The new issue of Dutch the magazine is out with the article I've made about MEDIAMATIC.
An other very interesting and alternative place next to Amsterdam central station where you can learn about art, design and science!!!
I'm happy to share with you the latest article I did for Dutch The Magazine. I chose a subject that is very important for me, an amazing project built around the refugee center based in the former prison of Bijlmerbarjes in Amsterdam. I let you discover the story:
I was asked by the beautiful plant shop Wildernis, in Amsterdam, to do their window drawing.
I got inspired by the impression of jungle and cosy house that you can feel inside the shop. I also created a series of postcard with the same design.
New article for "Dutch the magazine",
this month I talk about Sinterklaas, the most celebrated feast in the Netherlands, and about its controversal "Zwarte Piet" or "Black pete" that is still very present throughout the Netherlands unfortunately!!!
I'm happy to share with you today my last article for Dutch, the magazine.
This time I'm talking about one of my favourite places in Amsterdam, the cafe de Ceuvel.
It is to me the best sustainable experience I've ever seen, but I let you discover more with the article:
The July/August issue of Dutch, the magazine is out! This time I take you on a trip through Amsterdam's canals! featuring het scheepvaartmuseum, Café't Smalle, Brandenzand, the Seven Bridges and Het Grachtenhuis.
Thanks to Paola Westbeek !
Before to come back with the other steps of our trip in Mexico I wanted to share with you the article I made for the magazine "Dutch, the magazine" about the beautiful botanical garden in Amsterdam. I hope you will enjoy it!

I'm back!!! I know it's been a very looooong time, I have to confess that Instagram became my best friend since 2 years (_byloren_) and it's so easy to post drawings every days there that I forgot to take the time to write proper articles here.
Also I hope you won't mind if I write in english from now (if you do want a french version, please let me know in the comments!). Since I live in Amsterdam now, I would like to make stories in a commun language. Not sure if I'll post in Dutch one day!
Talking about Dutch language, that's my subject today, here we go:
Hey hey !!
Hey Hey !!
Are you still there ?
Today I want to share with you about Lavinia Good Food, a lovely café I had an esthetic crush first and then felt for the whole concept. It is called a "healthy café", the concept : kind of a tea room / café / delicatessen / shop selling local, fresh, healthy and tasty products in an odds and ends style between a flea market and a cosy living room.
I really liked the deco, the shop style with decorative objects that you can directly buy and the warm and cosy atmosphere.
At Lavinia's you can enjoy sandwiches, pizzettas, soups, yummy cakes, salads and veggie cocktails. They also organise workshops where you can learn how to cook detox and superfood menus or insects products, so I think it worth a look at their agenda from time to time !
EN : You will find the café at Kerkstraat 176 in Amsterdam center.
Hi everyone !
From now I will share more tips about Amsterdam cause it's where I'm gonna live now (it's still very strange to say it !). I don't know yet for how long, but it seems that I'm settling down !
Today I want to make you discover the Papeneiland café, a lovely little café situated on Prinsengracht, one of the main canals in Amsterdam. The building has been constructed in 1642 and almost didn't changed since, the atmosphere is dark and cosy due to the little lights and the room on the first floor is smoking allowed which adds even more character to the place. Perfect to enjoy a Glühwein watching the night falling on the canal !
